Cookie Policy

Last updated

This site uses eight cookies, and all eight are strictly necessary. There are no advertising cookies, no marketing cookies, and no third-party trackers.

The cookies we set

  • sessionid: keeps you signed in to your account. Only ever set for hosts, never for guests. It lasts thirty days.
  • csrftoken: confirms that a submitted form really came from you, blocking cross-site request forgery. It lasts one year.
  • locale: remembers which language you want the site in. It stays until you delete it.
  • signed_out_session_override: remembers that you signed out. It lasts one day.
  • occasion_draft_claim: attaches the invitation draft you built without an account to your account once you register. It lasts ninety days.
  • claimed_occasion_return: lets you return to the draft that was attached to your account. It lasts ten minutes.
  • access_{invitation}: keeps a PIN-protected invitation open after you enter the PIN. It is scoped to that one invitation and carries nothing about the event. It lasts ninety days.
  • rsvp_{invitation}: lets you update the RSVP you sent from the same browser. Its lifetime follows the date of the occasion: ninety days at the least, four hundred days at the most.

Non-essential cookies

This site sets no non-essential cookies. Visitor counting and session recording also run without them, on open source software hosted on our own server: nothing is written to your browser, no persistent identifier is assigned to you, and your IP address is not stored.

What that measurement collects, and how long it is kept, is set out on the KVKK Clarification Text page.

If you want to block them

You can delete or block this site’s cookies in your browser settings. Since every one of them is strictly necessary, the site cannot then perform its basic functions: you will not be able to sign in, submit forms, or stay signed in.
